By going on my NVCtrip I combine two beautiful aspects of my life. One of them is for my own joy and benefit: going on an adventure, challenging myself and realizing some of my dreams. The other one is to contribute to others and to the world at large by spreading the consciousness of NVC.
The first thing I can do more or less by myself. With the other one I need support by people interested in spreading NVC among a larger population. With this second goal I get support from the “CNVC Certified Trainer Agreement” that can be found on the webpage of the Center for Nonviolent Communication. Among other things it says “CNVC is committed to the vision of a critical mass of the world’s population using Nonviolent Communication (NVC) to resolve differences peacefully” and to “Ensure that the next generation and succeeding generations are taught NVC in a way that preserves and protects the integrity of the NVC process.”
I want to communicate and to collaborate with certified CNVC trainers and other people who like to teach and share NVC in the spirit of this agreement by “supporting each other by exchanging materials, giving feedback and offering empathy, and exploring ways to develop new training designs and materials.” I would also like to honor the request to contact CNVC Certified Trainers and NVC communities before I initiate NVC work in their regions for support, connection and follow-up.
That is why I would like to be in contact with individuals and NVC communities to find out how we can cooperate and support each other. I’m specifically interested if you live alongside my planned route. So if you are in one of the following countries and want to contribute to my journey or to spread information about your work as an NVC trainer, please contact me. Do it also if you have any concerns. Countries I am going to visit:
- Sweden
- Denmark
- Germany
- Switzerland
- France
- Spain
- Belgium
- Netherlands

Hi Bodil!
I’ll write in English so people outside Scandinavia can understand. I think Køge would be a perfect spot to stay in. After that there is a one day ride with the bike to Rødby Havnk. According to my plans I will pass Køge in the beginning of July. We’ll be in touch!
